Areas of Focus

  • Depression Depression affects how a person thinks, feels, and functions, often in ways that become self-reinforcing over time. I work with a range of depressive presentations, including persistent low mood, loss of motivation, and depression that is connected to trauma, chronic pain, or major life transitions.

  • Anxiety Anxiety shows up differently for everyone, from chronic worry and hypervigilance to panic and avoidance. I work with anxiety across a wide range of presentations and experiences.

  • Trauma & PTSD Trauma can take many forms: a single event, prolonged exposure, or experiences that were never fully processed. I work with a wide range of presentations, including PTSD, complex trauma, and histories that have shaped how a person moves through the world today.

  • Chronic Pain Chronic pain is rarely just physical. Over the past 5 years, my work in this area has focused on the relationship between the nervous system, pain perception, and emotional experience, particularly for those whose pain persists beyond a clear medical explanation or injury.

  • Military & Veteran Populations With 6 years working with military populations, I understand the distinct culture, stressors, and experiences that service members and veterans carry, including combat exposure, moral injury, transition challenges, and the impact of military life on identity and relationships.

Services

Individual Therapy I provide individual therapy for adults (18+) via telehealth. Sessions are tailored to your goals, history, and how you best respond to treatment.

Clinical Consultation I offer case consultation and supervision for licensed therapists. This includes support on complex trauma cases and guidance on integrating somatic and body-based approaches into clinical practice.

Therapeutic Approaches

Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)

A structured approach that helps the brain unlearn pain signals that are no longer tied to active tissue damage. It is particularly effective for chronic pain that persists beyond physical injury.

Somatic Therapy / Body-Centered Approaches

Therapy that incorporates awareness of physical sensations, movement, and the body's responses as part of the healing process. Useful for trauma and stress that is stored in the body and not always accessible through talk alone.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

A model that understands the mind as made up of distinct parts, each with their own perspective and role. IFS works to reduce internal conflict and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

A structured approach focused on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Used to identify patterns that maintain distress and develop more effective ways of coping.

Psychodynamic Therapy

An approach that explores how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns shape current functioning. Focuses on building self-awareness and understanding root causes rather than symptoms alone.
